Location and the school journey

Choose the school and home together. Compare the real daily journey and your family’s surroundings before committing to a neighbourhood.

Start with a shortlist

Choose three to five schools and confirm the exact campus. Campuses in the same group can offer different year groups and programmes.

Travel at school times

Test both drop-off and pick-up on a weekday. Ask about bus stops, handover arrangements, supervision and separate transport charges.

Consider the whole family

Check access to everyday shopping, healthcare and after-school activities. A pleasant weekend location may not fit the weekday school run.

• Confirm campus and entrance
• Test weekday travel both ways
• Ask about bus routes and charges
• Check everyday facilities
• Confirm a place before moving
